gotta ask - suppose Microsoft (and I grant you it is the anti-christ)
were to hold
or sponsor a conference (or SCO or SUN or any one else for that matter)
where
the stated objective was...

international organizations from the public, private and academic
sectors"
naturally the focus would be on their OS and their products. - would the
open source community want an opportunity to present opposing views? -
would the open source community cry foul if it was denied that
opportunity - if the answer is no - then - by all means - ban opposing
views from this conference - but - if you think MS would be unfair in
banning us - then you need to give them their day (or 45 minutes).

Actually, I think if this and other conferences were simply to follow
your
"three step program", and I thought that was excellantly phrased by you
yesterday, then that would be sufficient. It is a shame that they did
not
choose to quote that as well.
