The July 2 press release announced that the d220 would offer a choice of
Mandrake Linux v9.1 as an alternative to Windows starting on July 7th. It is
now July 8th, and this has not come to pass according to my experience when
trying to customize a d220 on hp's website. If you read my original report,
you'll notice that I never claimed that I understood this to apply to all
models. Only the d220. I'm on the phone now with HP and will get to the
bottom of this.
