Good Afternoon everyone,
I am requesting that a core group of person(s) meet with me to view the Student center and discuss all the parameters of the program. I will not be here on Friday 10/3 or Monday 10/6. However, any other dates or times should be okay.
Again, I would like to welcome this program especially if it can take place in the Student Center however, I need program information as well as information on how the program is to be situated.
I can be reached at ext. 5528 or via email if needed.
Thanks
Mitzu

OK
In terms of the current availability at Brooklyn College, we would be honored to take the Student Center on November 22nd and November 24th for the Conference, and we are looking at other Conference possibilities on the Campus for that Sunday. We are hoping that the Computer Center at BC can be made available for this purpose, and I'm requesting in this message from Mark that purhaps we can book the Computer Center for workshops on Sunday November 23rd.
Since I live near the school, I can come by and discuss particulars, but we are going to need an estimate for SUBO, if we can. I'm also hoping to have the NYLXS Dinner this weekend, and perhaps folks can recommend speakers not only for the conference, but also the Dinner.
I think we are close not to having a solid space commitment, and now we need only look at scheduling sessions, lectures, entertainment and volunteers.
I'd like to thank everyone work so hard on this project!
