Description: Responsibilities: • Look and feel changes for custom implementations • Customer specific business logic changes and functionality additions in/to the applications • Design and implementation of customized single sign-on authentication and authorization procedures • Customization of customer data feeds: position files, monitoring logs, data mapping files, time-series data • Infrastructure design and setup • Technical documentation and specification of the integration process • Some direct client interaction
Required skills: Technical Requirements • In-depth knowledge of HTML, DHTML, Cascading Style Sheets, JavaScript and XML. • Prior work experience as a Java developer and perl developer in a web environment is required. • Experience working with Java Server Pages as well experience with Apache and mod_ssl. • SQL and basic database knowledge. • Financial industry experience and a strong mathematical background are needed.
Desired skills: Recommended Qualifications Bachelor degree preferred: Computer Science, Engineering, or another similar concentration. Required: superior problem solving and troubleshooting skills with a customer first attitude. Must have excellent communication skills for interaction with both product development groups and external customer IT departments. Must possess the ability to work independently. Commitment to deadlines and attention to details are required.
