You know, he's tried hard to work with that project. But he was missing essential respect of the development team. Handling a Free Software Project has an entirely different dynamic than a comercial project. In one, people are just getting paid, and for better or worse (often worse), marketing people like Sam are INSIDE the authority loop of a project.

And then there was the demands of Sun, which is a turncoat company when it comes to FS as you can get.
