I have come across two URLs the first one addresses Mike"s question regarding a list of Free Software. This is pretty up to date directory of all of Free Software Orgs applications. You have to search around the directory because some of the software may not be in the catagory it is listed in.

the other URL speaks of the Open Source Software and how it differs from Free Software Org. I am bringing a copy of this with me for discussion.
