Its the limitations of the software configuration which is making it a PIA at this point. To repeat, it is bigger than my original picturebook with more ram and storage space. If I get rid of the stupid unionfs, and pull the junk off it that I don't want it will work as smooth as glass, yes, Open Office, the gimp, printing everything. I have a P3 downstairs doing it and running services. Till now this machine has been fine. I've just reached a wall with it where it is harder to get it to do what I want with its locked up distro then I care to figure how to fix. And the unionFS is flatout buggy.
