The System Administrator will support, install, upgrade, configure and maintain Linux , network services such as NIS, LDAP and NTP, and supporting Perl scripts. The System Administrator will assume responsibility for the overall system, applications and its improvements/performance tuning. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following job functions:
* 5+ years of experience with Linux installation, administration, security, troubleshooting, backup and recovery, RedHat preferred) at a corporate enterprise level. * Knowledge of Webservers (Apache) and tuning for performance and scalability * Performance testing for load, stress, and capacity * Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and configuration including configuring routers and load balancers * Strong scripting/automation skills (Shell scripting) * The ability to use tools such as SNMP and TCPdump to monitor activity, diagnose problems and optimize performance

how about building a program that is linux based for the grocery store to use :)..We use windblows for our screens at where I'm working. I rather see linux
