Senior OS Arch/Drupal Developer, NYC | 100-150k=20

This is a full time, on-site, salaried position in New York City paying
$100,000 to $150,000 + benefits. US Citizens or green card holders only

Our client is a premier full-time employee based technology firm seeking
hands-on Sr. Open Source Architect/PM (PHP/Drupal) and Web Application
Development skills. Their growing Content Solutions Practice which =
caters to
a growing list of clients within the Media, Financial, Publishing,
Entertainment, Health industries in New York City. They are seeking =
talented
candidates to continue their steady growth.

The successful candidate must have great problem solving and =
communication
skills, act as a resource for junior developers, and be comfortable in a
hands-on capacity at all levels of the design, development, testing, and
deployment cycle in an agile mindset.

All candidates must possess a strong foundation in computer science and =
have
demonstrated a proven track record of sound code design, reuse, and
maintenance. Ideal candidates possess end-to-end knowledge of the =
content
management and web application space including performance and =
scalability
design and tuning, data migration, SEO strategy execution, CDN
implementation, metrics and third party web services integration, and
general knowledge of open source products and frameworks. In addition, =
the
successful candidate will have expertise in general system =
administration in
both Windows and Unix/Linux environments, database administration and
tuning, and web server configuration. The candidate will need to have =
the
following:

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:=20
* Object-Oriented developer with PHP 5.x, Drupal 6.x/7 database and
distributed computing experience & theming=20
* Project Full Life Cycle experience with Project Leader, Analyst,
Architect, Technical Lead skills is a plus=20
* Working Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, Content Management applications=20
* Understanding and knowledge of web development and content solutions=20
* Experience within the Media or Publishing industry is a plus=20
* Experience with CDN's and caching strategies is a plus=20
* Experience administrating Linux, Apache or MySQL is a plus=20
* Experience deploying web infrastructures is a plus=20
