I've seen where they say it is very hard and to try to flip wires with toothpicks. You need toothpicks and a jewelers glass and special tools to get into the USB miniport. I've seen other sites that show tablets with the usb port on a card that can be removed.
I've already tried two HP cables. I do not think it is the cable. I can't hack it without access to the USB, so it is complete garbage without the usb port working.
