It is too early to predict what the Deal of the Century means for Hebron D=
ear Ruben, Here in Hebron, we continue to move forward. The week began by =
welcoming a student group and Yishai gave them a great tour! Although tours=
have not yet reopened, we were inspired by seeing visiting faces once agai=
n. We mourn the passing of Rabbi Dr. Norman Lamm ZTz=E2=80=9DL, former pre=
sident, Rosh HaYeshiva, and chancellor of Yeshiva University. May the famil=
y be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. We pray that our f=
riends in the USA and around the world who have been impacted by the curren=
t situation remain healthy and safe. One of the high profile arrests was of=
an attorney who reportedly threw a Molotov cocktail. At first, this seemed=
strange but, as you=E2=80=99ll read in the article below, you will see tha=
t she has verbally attacked Hebron and Israel in the past. We are concerned=
about the =E2=80=9CDeal of Century=E2=80=9D that was announced in late Jan=
uary. There are many good people involved in the process, but who knows wha=
t the map will ultimately look like. We are less than 30 days from the form=
al discussions and announcements in Israel. We want the Knesset to apply so=
vereignty, regardless of the Deal of the Century (which seems like a two-st=
ate solution disaster). Members of the community, as always, are working ha=
rd behind the scenes. We will keep you updated. Most Hebron area families a=
re still on unpaid leave. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed=
. If you would like to make a donation to help us through this challenging =
time, here is the link. You can also sign up for our monthly giving program=
so you know you are connected to Hebron monthly. Wishing you a safe and pe=
aceful Shabbat and Blessings from Hebron, Dan Rabbi Daniel Rosenstein Execu=
tive Director, The Hebron Fund drosenstein-at-hebronfund.org www.hebronfund.or=
g P.S. Note since the holiday of Shavuot fell on Shabbat outside of Israel,=
the weekly Parsha is one ahead in Israel. We will follow the Parsha read i=

HPELA IS OPEN!!!! *****GUIDELINES*****per Israel Ministry of Health The num=
ber of visitors is limited to 50 at this time. Social distancing and masks =
are mandatory. Video on the Scene In Rabbi Simcha Hochbaum's, Two Minutes o=
f Inspiration, he speaks of Rabbi Dr. Norman Lamm's ZTz"L ability to seamle=
ssly fuse the spiritual and material aspects of our world. We remember and =
honor Rabbi Dr. Lamm ZTz"L, who passed away this week. May his family be co=
mforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Seen on the Scene Student=
s participating in the gap year program, Ohrsom, have self-isolated and rem=
ained in Israel during the last few months (while most other programs were =
closed) and FINALLY made it to Hebron! Although we don=E2=80=99t have any t=
ours scheduled in the near term, we are thrilled to welcome back our a tour=
since the restrictions were lifted! The newly appointed Minister of Religi=
ous Services, Rabbi Yaakov Aviton, along with other members of Knesset, vis=
ited Hebron earlier this week. In the News Israel-Hating Human Rights Lawye=
r Brings Palestinian Tactics to Brooklyn Riots While the Israel-haters try =
are suggesting that the police officer who murdered George Floyd was traine=
d to kill this way by Israel, it would seem that some of the protesters lea=
rned the tricks of their trade from the Palestinian Arabs (h/t: kweansmom).=

some Pairs and the Gender Chromosomes The first parshiot of the book of Bam=
idbar mention various types of groupings of the People of Israel. One group=
ing pertains to the three main groups of Israel: Kohanim, Levites, and Isra=
elites. Another grouping pertains to the seven encampments enumerated in th=
ese parshiot: the encampment of Yehuda, Reuven, Ephraim, Dan, and the Levit=
e encampments of Kehot, Gershon, and Merari. Of course, another grouping pe=
rtains to the twelve tribes, each tribe enumerated separately. Altogether w=
e see 22 groups here. A year ago, in Parshat Vayeshev we mentioned that thr=
oughout the dreams associated with Yosef, either that he dreamed or dreams =
told to him, the themes of the numbers three [in the dreams of the butler a=
nd baker], seven [in Pharaoh=E2=80=99s dreams] and twelve [in Yosef=E2=80=

oth butler and baker have dreams with the number three, Pharaoh dreams two =
=E2=80=9Cdouble dreams=E2=80=9D with seven in them, Yosef dreams two dreams=
with twelve]. We noted that these numbers correspond with the Sefer Yetzir=
a which emphasizes the significance of a group of three, a group of seven, =
and a group of twelve, together comprising the 22 [3+7+12] letters of the H=
ebrew alphabet. Continue reading and print HERE Naso June 5-6 2020 CANDLE L=

Here in Hebron, we continue to move forward.

The week began by welcoming a student group and Yishai gave them a gre=
at tour! Although tours have not yet reopened, we were inspired by seeing v=
isiting faces once again.

We mourn the passing of Rabbi Dr. N=
orman Lamm ZTz”L
, former president, Rosh HaYeshiva, and chanc=
ellor of Yeshiva University. May the family be comforted among the mou=
rners of Zion and Jerusalem.

We pray that our friends in the USA and around the world who have been=
impacted by the current situation remain healthy and safe. One of the high=
profile arrests was of an attorney who reportedly threw a Molotov cocktail=
. At first, this seemed strange but, as you’ll read in the article b=
elow, you will see that she has verbally attacked Hebron and Israel in the =
past.

We are concerned about the “Deal of Century” that was an=
nounced in late January. There are many good people involved in the process=
, but who knows what the map will ultimately look like. We are less than 30=
days from the formal discussions and announcements in Israel. =3D"font-weight: bold;">We want the Knesset to apply sovereignty, re=
gardless of the Deal of the Century (which seems like a two-state solution =
disaster). Members of the community=
, as always, are working hard behind the scenes
. We will keep you up=
dated.

Most Hebron area families are still on d;">unpaid leave. Thank you to everyone who has already contributed.=

If you would like to make a donation to help us through this challenging t=
