One of the advantages of living in NYC is that eventually everything comes hoem to you. Linux convensions are no different. Year, the Linux Expo makes its way to the Javitz Center, and the NY Linux community responds in many ways.

The traditional lead contact betwen the community and the Expo is Jim Gleason's NYLUG. The put up a table and reach out to others in the Linux community. In addition, NYers wine and dine incoming guests, participate in lectures and seminars, teach and hail cabs for folks. Generally a good time is had by all.
