Hi,
Instead of our typical spontaneous social event, "the NYLUG WingFest"
(e.g. - http://nylug.org/blog/2008/03/16/lmurillo-wingfest/), we are
thinking let's celebrate the summer, and indulge in a time-honored
east-coast tradition of smashing open crabs will imbibing vast
quantities of fermented beverages, and have our first "NYLUG CrabFest"
this month.
The bar and restaurant "Fish" in the West Village offers $19
all-you-can-eat steamed blue crabs daily from noon to 4pm. We're
planning to do it on one of the next two weekends (Aug 14/15, 21/22).
If you like seafood (and/or beer) and are interested in joining us,
please participate in our poll and help us find the best date. Please
put in your votes by Wednesday night (Aug. 11, 2010):
