Well I don't think it was just the head phones.
The guy ran multiple red light whic means he was a menace to all trafic on
those roads. Also I don't see a problem with wearing headphones as long as
they aren't noise canceling and are at a low enough volume that they don't
drown out other sounds. In other words if you can listen to the music and
evesdrop on the person standing next to you on the corner who's having a
normal volume conversation with someone I don't think wearing headphones at
that volume level is an issue.
That being said most people blast their headphones or worse wear noise
canceling headphones in inapropriate places including while they are
walking in manhatten.
Further more this guy was a genneral dumbass who will most likely get him
self killed one way or an other I just hope he doesn't get any one else
hurt in the process.
