We would be better off if you became less dependent on the money from
foreign students and instead focused on the large number of inner-city
youths who are seriously under represented on campus, despite the
enormous need that these students have. The city has huge numbers of
children in need of advanced education who are crippled coming out of
the NYC public school system. LIU/Brooklyn and LIU/Post need to step in
and fill that void, and end its addiction to foreign student is not helpful.

The school doesn't do adequate outreach to local students. Its a
complete failure.

Instead of focusing on the immigration problem, focus on funding
students from our local neighborhoods, especially communities that are
undeserved like East New York, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Cyprus Hills, East
Flatbush, Flatbush, Sunset Park, etc ,etc. These students have been
abandoned while higher education chases foreign students from upper
class families in the third world.

I know we have far more than 6 students from the community that you can
help. Additionally, I'm certain that there are more than 6 students
having problems making their payments to the bursars office, who will
not get all of your attention, or a long winded letter.

Additionally, don't think that the student body has forgotten the
outrageous labor action that the administration did, causing real harm
to the student body and destroying school moral. As far as moral
standards are concern, you have a lot of ground to make up before
wagging a finger at the Trump administration.
