I finally got the damn rat fixed!
Mind you, the nightmare did not end there.

I tried a system's update, and it killed (DELETED!) KDE on me. I got stuck with FVWM for most of the time. Finally, I decided to take the hard drive and put it into a Gateway P3 Tower, where it would work without starting X. The system it came from was a mini-server made by Intel (LM440X), and it has a pretty screwy bios that needs updating!

>From there I managed my way through reintalling the mouse by, like Ruben stated, using YAST and SAX. I had to log in as root to do this. With the mouse back, I went into FVWM, and used Yast again to add the KDE Modules, and compare the preferences with another SUSE/KDE machine that I have.

Then Apache got stabbed in the back by this KDE install... and had to install that and redo all of its preferences and modules. Now with the exception of missing KDE Boot Process Indicator, the system works fine. I would dare say that it works a little better since all functions are now restored, but its a bit bloated and needs some trimming of the fat. (Like do I really need OpenOffice and Gimp on a server? NO! And some apache modules are not needed for my server uses!)

Its been a strange weekend, wrestling with a machine that just wanted to give me a hard time by dying. Well, its alive and a bit happier. Lets hope the Lizard goes not want to go suicidual on me again!

Thank you all for your answers and help.

Today I fixed the problem exactly as Ruben described!
After rebooting the mouse works again! On its own! No more yast!
My problem started when I updated the Windows side partition...
If you need help maybe I can?
