James Vasile, Free Software Law Center -on- GPL3, The FOSS Legal Primer, and The Interaction of Licenses & Communities Please join us on Wednesday evening, for a presentation by James Vasile of the Free Software Law Center on several legal topics of interest to users of Free and Open Source Software. While version three of the GPL is now old news, there are still some points about it worth discussing, and many still have questions about what makes it different from previous versions of the widely-used GNU General Public License. James will also be talking to us about the interaction between licenses and communities. Vasile has also contributed code and documentation to numerous FOSS software projects. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
