present your research projects at this conference: the Science Park. The
Science Park offers you a unique chance to present a scientific project
or research consortium to the scientific community of the world. The
science park will be located in the same hall as the industrial
exhibition while being clearly separated. Delegates will pass by during
coffee breaks or during their visit to the industrial exhibition. It

and prevalence of wound problems is on the rise. Bedsores (also known as

Announcements from the Cardiopulmonary Systems Technical Committee The
Cardiopulmonary Systems Technical Committee is organizing a full-day
workshop, "Cardiorespiratory physiology and modeling with clinical
applications", at the EMBC 2019 (Berlin, Germany) on Tuesday 23 July.
This workshop covers cardiovascular and respiratory physiology,
mathematical modeling and the use of simulation models to aid in the
understanding of the normo- and patho-physiology of the heart, the
lungs, and their interactions. The workshop is given by experts in the
field and is geared toward undergraduate and early graduate students
