The latest from the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society [MARC=
H 2019] LAST CHANCE TO SUBMIT AN ADCOM NOMINATION "Do you want to be more i=
nvolved in aspects of EMBS management, including its conferences, technical=
activities, and publications? Here is your chance!" The IEEE EMBS solicits=
names for candidates for positions on its Administrative Committee (AdCom)=
for terms of three years. The AdCom is the administrative and governance b=
ody of the IEEE EMB Society. It is required to meet two times each year. Re=
cent changes in the EMBS Bylaws have redefined the categories of AdCom Memb=
ers: 5 members now represent geographic areas of interest / priority, 5 rep=
resentatives whose strength lies in key technical areas of EMBS, and 5 memb=
ers who are active practitioners in the field of biomedical engineering (e.=

Recent changes in the EMBS Bylaws have redefined the categories of AdCom Members: 5 members now represent geographic areas of interest / priority, 5 representatives whose strength lies in key technical areas of EMBS, and 5 members who are active practitioners in the field of biomedical engineering (e.g. clinicians, health policy, medical industry). The Football Players Health Study (FPHS) at Harvard University is soliciting proposals for innovative “HealthTech” solutions to improve the health of former and/or current professional football players.
