I do appreciate that! But I have no camera or tablets of cell phones.

My IT resources are 2 HP Z240 worstations
running Artix Linux with 4 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU -at- 3.40GHz and
64 gigs of ram, plus 4 fit/pc servers for web, dns, and email services.

We have no cellphones or tablets or devices of that sort, We run VOIP
intnerally with a POTS phone number running under SIP in association
with Flowrate, using at fit/pc to run https://freeswitch.com/

NYLXS is a Free Software organization that has been engaged in teach
GNU and Linux for a couple of decades. They do not involve themselves
with the kind of software your describing. They tutor and teach
programming, virtualization services, puppet, C programming, and C++
Programming and the like. I'm sorry about that. NYLXS's position is
that such software is insecure, have disagreeable licensing, and tools for
tracking, and is opposed the deployment of such software. Other sister
organizations, including Rick Moens Cabal in Melno Park, have played
with and used https://jitsi.org/, but we haven't seen any reason to add
video conferencing to our tool kit and we have serious concerns with
regard to privacy with all video conferencing. We also have other
serious concerns about video conferencing in the general and its impact
on society. We feel it reinforces discrimatory practices, and its
adapted use in education is hurting students.

Normaly, I wouldn't get into all of this, but you brought it up so I
felt you deserved an adult answer to your question.

I additionally have specific personal reasons for not carrying a
smartphone, or having camera in the house which I prefer to keep
private. They are not legal in nature, and not work related.

I'm afraid I am interested, but I have a land line only on a
conventional phone line.

>Interviews can be performed via smart phones and public computers (libraries, schools, etc.) if you are not allowed to due to conditions at the home. Perhaps, as Lead Organizer / President / Educator of NYLSX, you can interview from NYLSX, or use their resources. As such, if you are interested in interviewing for the Albany position, make arrangements for a video meeting and email the requested documentation. If this is not possible, then we will have to consider this a declination for the interview.
>

You can do that, BUT, you should be aware that other state organizaitons
have had no problem with this, and in addition, I would consider it
discrimatory practice since none of the state jobs I have applied for
have a requirment of access to such software. I hope you reconsider
and do what everyone else has done and just use a telephone. Or if
you want, we can meet in person.
