This is such a huge error it makes me sick and it speaks very badly about the current broadcast business
environment.

> African Americans have this double standard of where nobody but themselves can put them down as a group, and then go about as if it were a religious right to put down others for little or no reason at all. This is what bothers me. In hearing the comment that Don Imus stated, in reference to african genetic hair stuctures on the head of women of ill repute, it was part of a much larger statement of how well these young ladies were playing. The comment was part of a larger statement of the teams tenacity and vicousnous of their on-court play abilities, but no- people are willing to take out a 5 second of segmented audio and pay attention to it more that the rest of the 60 minutes of game comentary. I find it nothing more that what others DJ's and sport commentators are guilty for: letting the tongue slip. For that I dont think Don Imus should be fired.

> Don Imus went out of his way to appologize, though the audience at had did not want to hear it. In myview, the only one that he should have appologized too, was the Rugters Women's Basketball Teamand their coach. That he did, and they have accepted his appology and forgave him. That says a lot more that what Al Sharpton and his crony followers did: Go Forth and Live Up To The Head Hunting Pigmy Mentally of 'OFF With His Head!

> People make mistakes, and it take a bigger person to appologize for their mistake, as it does a much more larger person to accept an appology and to forgive. People like Al Sharpton are small, wanting quick actions at the expense of others, not caring about what is happened in process but believes that in their interfere of the process that they actually believe that they are doing good. Al Sharpton should appologize for the actions he took for there was none to take but to make himself look bigger in the eyes of his public.
