1) This is a list for students and gradstudents of LIU
2) Its main purpose is to share resources and to collaberate on class work
3) Its other main purpose is to establish comraderee amoung students and
share as a community, as a college.
4) Resources are posted online at http://www.nylxs.com/docs/grad_school/
5) The mailing list is archived at http://www.nylxs.com/mailing.html
6) we can also often be found on IRC at irc.freenode.net #liu
7) NYLXS can also extend server resources if someone needs them,
including BASH, C, C++ objectiveC, Perl, Ruby, MYSQL, Postgres, Python,
TCL, make, and a slew of other things.... just ask.
8) The more you use this, the better it is.
9) I'm hoping we can actually organize a technight event just for LIU
students for hacking and talking shop... and drinking scotch.
