SUBJECT Re: [hangout] Future might be looking brighter

On a similar topic but a more local note.
I tried to gracefully postpone the internship but the principle in the school
has made a gesture that signals he is very interested and serious about what
I have in mind.
I will be given a lot of latitude to do what I feel is necessary to show
results that the students will benefit from Free Software.
The people I will be working with are not the same kinds of people that
others have encountered with other branches of the DOE.
I have been giving some serious thought about how Free Software fits into the
city and the obstacles I will very likely encounter.
I am intentionally being vague in this email for reasons that are hopefully
obvious.
But I am sending this email out to once again to ask that NYLXS make itself
available if and possibly when the opportunity presents itself to have a
positive impace at the BOE.
