Also, proper policy at this time would say require using ssh and sftp
(aka run an ssh server) instead of using ftp.
There are a few clients for using that including sftp from the same people
who provide putty also filezilla is a crossplatform upload tool that supports
FTP just should not be used unless you are runing on an intranet and even then
it may be questionable.
