Brian Sietz is giving a 2 hour lector on Writing IRC BOTS in Perl on Thursday. This is really a cool topic. Bots show up on IRC channels like people can converse with them. The can be used to interject FAQ's, or the make pleasant conversation. It is fun to see people argue with Bots.
This meeting is scheduled on the NYLX Calendar and will happen at the Killarny Rose at 80 Beaver Street, Manhattan near Wall and Perl.
In Services are peer to peer lectures to develope an expanssion of research and knowledge amoung peers. They are interactive, and are very useful for spreading knowledge around. They are key to professional development.
