You always give me far too much credit. Anyway, I haven't been out of bed much today, and won't be going to the NYLUG event tomorrow night either. I hope you all have a good time today though. I (obviously) strongly disagree with those who've been saying for the last 7 years or so that Installfests are obsolete. I think the Installfest is one of the more "fun" things a user group does, and continues to help new users, who are very much still having trouble running Linux-based systems on Windows-oriented hardware.
Oh, BTW, DebConf10 is coming to Columbia next year. I know how you feel about Debian, but this was a big win for New York City, and probably NYLXS/NYLUG/et al. need to get involved at some level. Oh and the organizing meetings are held in Brooklyn. ;)
