Years before Bloomberg ran for mayor, he was running Bloomberg Inc.
A friend of mine who owned (and later sold) Advanced Recovery ( http://adva=
ncedrecovery.com ) had a contract with Bloomberg Inc in recycling its compu=
ter equipment. In working with this contract, my friend was told by Bloombe=
rg himself that he puts the company through a recycling cycle-6 months for =
equipment, and 2 years for employees. In explaination, employees work for B=
loomberg Inc-reguardless of position, for 2 years, earning bonuses, promoti=
ons and awards, then they are suddenly fired. This can be done because it i=
s stipulated in their contract that they are 'At-Will Employees', and cn be=
hired/fired without cause or notice. Thusly, they are not entitled to othe=
r rights of full-time employees elsewhere: Severends Pay, Health/Dental Pac=
kages, Retirement pacakges; such services are taken out of the employees pa=
y if they so take the option of paying for these services for themselves. T=
his is what he proudly admits to creating at Bloomberg Inc.

And this is the same idiot that I protested against and the citizens of NYC=
voted into office; an idiot who was not even a resident of the city at the=
time of his campaign!
