Only closing 42nd and 47th and 2 blocks in herald square. I say good. If you ever want to get anywhere in NY, taking a cab through times square is the worst route. It will force more people in times square to goto the subway or just walk an avenue over to grab a cab. It will be nice for a little more breathing room on the sidewalks for those who have to walk through that area for work
