There is much to be said for this -- so I'll be curious to hear about
what you try and find as next-generation MLM competitors. One was
mentioned upthread that I hadn't heard of before, which is cool to hear
about: It's been distressing to have to choose among just Mailman,
Sympa, or Majordomo2 -- and good to hear of additional options.
Personally, I gave up on Chapman's majordomo 1.9x in 1999, because the
writing was already on the wall that it was extremely likely to be
 Issued under a slight variant of Apache Public License. By the way,
any reason why you didn't try it? It works with any Perl 5.004_01 or
 Some folks like ezmlm, mentioned here for completeness, albeit I
personally don't care for it.
