From what I see in the logs of "Spin a few records" (the first message of that thread), it looks like the mail is sitting on the local machine for a while. Could the server be greylisting itself?

I found the following two links concerning debugging Postifx.

Debugging Postfix is a little more complicated (compared to Exim) because of Postfix's design of passing mail between several processes.
