I've been playing with the ALSAMIXER of late to fix my sorroundsound setting for the SBLIVE card I own, and I'm seeing this EMU10K1 Send Routing settings. When I set them high, it seems my sound stream is going to the bit bucket in the sky. So I'm figuring, "Hey - I bet this setting can send my sound to another host!! which would be VERY cool". Does anyone know anything more about these settings and how I might be able to leverage them for some 'round the house music.
In theory, esd can send sound to other hosts as well, but I've never been able to figure that out either.
