The funny thing is, that I believe the Left/Right dicotomy is a side
show to the real politics of the nation.

Its all cake, sugary, unhealthy, and corperate spounsored, with
different frosting.

Most people know what the right thing to do is...wrong and right isn't
left and right...they just won't do it.
