This is not going to solve the internal strife that stems from the bitterness of NYLXS' ancient past.
If one yearns for the 'good ole' days dont ask for new blood and then stomp all over it when someone tries to explain their position.
The lack of ability of NYLXS marketing itself is not due to lack of skill or experience within the organization. It is due to the dysfunctional 'leadership' which is bogged down in what it failed to accomplish and what was coopted by other organizations. The only way out is to lay out a long term plan, put it on paper and communicate it to others. Once involved in the process of aiming for the long term goals we have to set short term goals. The purpose of the short term goals will either adjust what what NYLXS' mission is or maintain and strengthen it. The mission is what should be (or should have been) outlined in the long-term goal(s).
