Oh Rick
Good. You are right. This was posted after this entire run of yesterdays discussions... and it is buried in a back handed insult, but I'll take it.
Denis, I appreciate the effort to reverse this. Hopefully this will be enough.
Ok, I'm done with this for the time being. I sincerely hope that you quickly display visible responsibility with regard to Devuan so that it can flower. You have fewer enemies than you think, Denis. If you are forthright with this project, there is a lot of pented up energy over systemd and folks wanting and needing a viable alternative of GNU without systemd hook.
Richard: They need guidence of the type that perhaps only you can provide them. It is in the FSF's best interest, and in GNU's best interest to have a free systemdless alternative for future system that are viable. This project will require a huge number of ported packages as time goes forward.
For my own part, I'm still searching for viable solutions for my computers. I can't build an OS on my own. And if I was, I'd want a sound organization to give it too. NYLXS is not capable of this.
the closest I've gotten at this point in Manjaro with openrc. But it is very raw.
