Tony

It was a pleasure to see you tonight in Gil Hodges HS. I sort of miss
running into you and trying to twist your arm on IP issues.

eh - that being said, the show tonight with the mayoral hopefuls was
dreadful. If you don't mind me saying, and I've never been anything but
honest with you, even since the mid-1980's, the whole group more or less
sound the same and they suck. You put on the best interview, but
really, 5 of the Democratic candidates want to be like Laurguadia? They
couldn't name even 5 things Laguardia did, aside from letting Robert
Moses run amok.

You need to separate yourself from this field of stooges, and having
noisy press conferences isn't enough.

Look, the entire Democratic party is rotten to the core, far worse than
anything you did.

Thompson is great but like a bureaucrat with a history of failure. De
Blasio is a Mass import who Rudy nearly ended is political career early
when DeBlassio leveled false charges around Rudy. You can beat him,
because he is not only not a New Yorker, but he is a vindictive SOB who
lies more than every once in the field and throws around false
accusations. Once he does it again, wrap it around his neck over again.

Christine Quinn is a Manhattan centric extreme, and I mean really
extreme, liberal nut. If she gets elected Brooklyn will be completely
fucked. Brooklyn Jews, will be destroyed particularly. And she flip
flops without any careful policy analysis. Just paint her as an extreme
liberal and isolate her to the gay electorate, a junior well behaved
Bella Abzug. She is dangerous because she is extremely funded by deep
Manhattan wealth. But she is a bad apple, especially for Brooklyn, so
you have to isolate her as being a Mayoral candidate of the few against
the many.

John Lui is perhaps the hardest candidate to beat. But he offers
nothing. He says nothing. He is very organized. He is weak on
issues, though and can be picked apart. And he has been the subject of
criminal political investigations. Lui is very weak on the MTA and the
Borogoughs. Bloomberg rolled him over on the Congestion Pricing Plan.
Play that up and erode his outer borough credentials.

As a group, they suck and sound like each other.

What can you do?

You have to remember that after you left office that they ended the
Orthodox Jewish district, despite that recent reports on population
growth show that clearly Boro Park is fastest growing community in the
City. After you left, they elected a Republican, and rejected the entire
Democratic party. The party responded by dividing up the Jewish
districts. Today there is no Jewish congressman. And NO NADER is FROM
THE UPPER WEST SIDE. He wouldn't know a Bobov from a Brisk.

AND, your credentials with the Jewish community isn't so great either.
Call it ethnic politics at its best if you want, but your marriage to
Huma isn't helping any more than the pictures scandal. But they are all
aware that the community has been targets for political oblivion and
this has all happened on the DeBasseo, Lui. Quine. In fact they help
make those lines and lobbied the assembly for them... every one of them
in club houses across the city.

http://politicker.com/2012/03/orthodox-jewish-group-pushes-court-for-new-congrressional-district/

See - they are trying to bury the Giuliani majority. And the borough's
voters are on a short fuse about it. You can build your credentials,
change the races completion, and move a large segment of outer borough
voters from apathy to ballet box voters for you.

No Congestion Pricing

Anti-MTA (7 train to NJ) abuse of the outer boroughs

Gerrymandering power grab from the Outer Borough Middle Class, especial
Jews on all levels of government.

Ending the use of violations as a fund raiser.

Balanced bugets etc ... stop the over burden

That should do it....
