No I have several ways to go about fixing the problem with html mail. I've enjoyed until now having the ability to occasionally attach html and other docs to the mailing list, but it seems that abuse of that ability requires some change.
I can either just bounce all attachments and multipart mail
I can write a hook that will convert all html to plain text and install that.
I can just strip down all the messages and forward only the plain text parts.
