And here I thought this might be a useful feature we could exploit in Bayonne to notify windows desktops about incoming calls without having to write any code for that platform :). In that sense, I call it a license hack, since I have no interest in writing things linked with or built on platforms under proprietary licenses.
Actually, I do need to write a server plugin for Bayonne and a gui applet client for gnome and kde now. This would be used to notify destkop users of incoming calls and provide them with callerid information. It would probably be linked with the proposed TOSI library so that such an applet can also work with users that have modems plugged into their workstations...
