Citi Alternative Investments (CAI) has an excellent full-time opportunity. We are looking for a C++/Linux (Red Hat) developer for a new project in our mid-town office. The candidates need to be experts at memory management, extensive multi-threading experience and knowledge of TCP/IP level coding. The ideal candidate will have ~ 3 to 7 years exp. Financial Services exp. is not necessary. Prefer candidates that have a background in electronic game development.
The Quantitative Strategies unit is a new investment center within CAI. The investment center has been founded to deliver risk adjusted alpha returns with low correlation to other traditional investments. The team, which is currently being built out, will be comprised of experts with extensive experience in portfolio management and statistical modeling. The unit's mandate will be to develop advanced proprietary technologies, including a fully automated trading engine, with the goal of systematically identifying and exploiting non-random price behavior from high frequency financial data.
As part of its strategy to attract the best talent, CAI's Quantitative Strategies group is seeking several developers and quantitative analysts. The developers and quantitative analysts will be charged with creating state-of-the-art automated trading engines that receive a multitude of interdependent streams of data requiring extensive manipulation and simultaneous processing. The trading engine requiring development must ensure the optimal execution of the highly advanced statistical trading strategies created within the team's execution centers of excellence co-located at the world's major securities trading hubs.
