That's not a fair question Ruben. Kennedy got 80 percent of the
Catholic vote for the exact same reasons that Obama got 97% of the
Black vote. And to be fair, the Black community have dealt with a lot
more garbage than either the Jews or the Irish have had to put up with
in our country. Which only heightens the necessity for them (as a
community) to get "one of their own" elected. I actually sympathize a
great deal.
As for the Jewish vote, I think Lieberman didn't get a similar
percentage of Jewish voters because a lot of us were simply scared to
death of seeing a Jew in the White House. I felt, and I know that a
lot of other people also felt, that if Lieberman were to make it
there, we would collectively get blamed for everything that ever went
wrong on this planet during his administration. Half the bastards on
Earth already blame us for everything as it is.
So I don't blame black voters for voting Obama. However, I am simply
not going to bother listening to any more about Black people being
disenfranchised. Your man got into office, it doesn't get better than
that.
