We are having a call for papers in the NYLXS Journal. Looking for serious papers on Free Software research or implemntation, programming practices and desktop usages.
If you work with free software, Linux, Perl, Lisp, PHP, Database design, Firewall Network, get yourself published and increase your profile.
See Michael Richardson fo the NYLXS Journal.
In addition - see the announcement on our first Journal meeting.
If you can spell (better than me), please help us with the Journal. Racheal, if you can spare the time we can use your tech writing skills :)
We also need articles from Linux World, anyone from our first perl class, our meetings, any NYLXS activity.
Peter Lerher, come out of your coccoon and give us a hand. All papers distributed under an open content license.
Mark Twain, and Shalom Alechem, I call you back from the grave.
David Sugar, we can use an article :)
Ruben

Do you want to see that paper you wrote (plan to write) in print and/or posted on the website of the newest thing to hit the Linux World (NYLXS). Be on the cutting edge. Be the first to inform your peers of (and amaze your friends) of what is happening or going to happen in the Linux World. This is your time to see that the NYLXS JOURNAL becomes what you want and need it to be. Now is the time to set the style, tone and thrust of the Journal.
Come one come all. You are invited to a meeting on Monday Jan, 14, 2002 Time: 6:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.. Place Killarny Rose 82 Beaver St.
