Secondary to NYLXS opening its new Free Software Educational Center on East 12th Street and Kings Highway in Brooklyn, we are announcing our long planned hardware recycling program.
NYLXS is soliciting for old hardware to be recycled with Free Software to either schools, disenfranchised families, or for use in the educational facility directly. NYLXS is willing to recycle anything, but we are mostly looking for computers of Pentium I class or better. We are also accepting donations of Monitors, Scanners, and printers no longer in use.
We are also accepting networking equipment and cables as available. Our volunteers will arrange for pickup.
Anyone interested in becoming involved with this effort, to reformat machines and help with installations, email NYLXS at president-at-nylxs.com or call us at 1-718-382-0585.
