You must be referring to their Linux-based operating system. Calling it
GNU is misleading to those of us who would prefer that it were a
GNU-based OS. While we might like the idea of riding on Google's
publicity coattails, I see them having and executing a very different
set of aims than we have. I'd bet your friend Richard holds a much less
charitable view about it than I do.
