I need a weeks lead time for any meeting, and I'll be late for a 6:30 meeting since I work until 7:00PM in Flatbush. Also, if I don't see the meeting scheduled on the calender, I'll have no idea (PS - Read the Charter on scheduled board meetings). I was sorry to have missed the last board meeting.
I hope the other secretarial officer will put up a complete minutes on the meeting. I'm sorry to make everyone feel they need to have an emergency meeting over this, but my personal circumstances have undergone a dramatic change and this has cause me to need to make these changes.
In terms of the server ownership, this server was purchased by NYLXS completely except the mouse, keyboard, second scsi board, monitor and TV capture card. In other words, NYLXS owns just the box.
I will have my personal stuff off the server after the Perl Class here on Sunday and then I'm moving the server built of both parts from Tim Wilcox and mine into it's place. I own that server completely, although I originally promised it to the FSCC. Instead I'm keeping it. Then this server owned by the organization will be unplugged from my DSL. I'm planning to make a backup of the DNS and web services to give you time to make a transition for the old server (but not the public and organizational accounts). .
The server is not the only thing to be moved. All the materials I listed needs to be moved out of the house. I really need to close down the public aspect of my home after the last 2 years of if being used as a public facility for NYLXS. After the Perl class is finished, that will be the last public event to take place in my home. After 2 years of public service, I'm retiring to a private life again.
Again, everyone has been nothing but the greatest.
