I agree to some, and suggest otherwise, for other points:
The password should be known to the President of the Org and to a _full time_ SA (one person's job - as the 'go-to' guy for issues with the server's functionality and content). We need someone to SA the server as a full time
position to keep it up to date and make changes in timely fashion. The server is *the* Face of NYLXS. We will be regarded as professional as only our first impression, our server, shows. If it's sloppy, confusing or outdated- that is what will be conveyed as "NYLXS, Inc." regardless what the site really says. This will become increasingly important as our non-profit status comes through and prospective donors and partners investigate as to just 'who' we are.
The SA could also be responsible to SA the Kings Games location machines. This (the SA, job description, and duties) should be fleshed out ASAP, either by a virtual (irc) or personal meeting.
I'd suggest having the elected Pres know the password because as with any key, we need a backup in case the SA is unavailable for a period of time (i.e.- traveling) and a timely change or fix is needed. The Pres and the SA will meet in private to set the pwd.
I believe the server was donated by Tim Wilcox so we also need to discuss new bandwith which will include location obviously.
Feedback appreciated...
~Ray.
