It appears that my smartmedia card is being recognized:
[root-at-localhost joev]# cardctl config Socket 0: Vcc 5.0V Vpp1 5.0V Vpp2 5.0V [root-at-localhost joev]# cardctl ident Socket 0: product info: "OLYMPUS", "PAN ", "1.0" manfid: 0x0000, 0x0000 function: 4 (fixed disk) [root-at-localhost joev]# cardctl status Socket 0: 5V 16-bit PC Card function 0: [ready]
According to the PCMCIA howto at LDP, http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/PCMCIA-HOWTO-4.html and http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/PCMCIA-HOWTO-4.html#ss4.7 I need to add an ftl aprtition to the card:
[root-at-localhost pcmcia]# ftl_format -i /dev/mem0c0c status check failed: No such file or directory
but can't seem to do so and I can't figure out how to mount it anywhere.
Any Ideas?
Joe
