Description: As a member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing secure remote access software that runs on a Linux server platform. ***********The development team works in the Corporate Headquarters in Northern New Jersey. All candidates must be local to, or within commutable distance to Northern NJ to be considered for the position. No candidates requiring relocation (assisted or un-assisted) will be considered.
Required skills: - Ability to excel in a fast-paced, start-up environment - 5+ years of professional experience in the product development space is required - Knowledge of Perl, C, and Linux required. Most of the programming will be in Perl and C - Knowledge of mod-perl and Apache Web Server preferred - Exposure to inter-processor communications, including sockets programming, named pipes, shared memory, etc. required - Experience with system level software a big plus - Familiarity with application-level network protocols (e.g. HTTP) and/or security protocols (e.g. SSL) is a plus. In particular, exposure to Apache and open-ssl a plus - General exposure to networking and security technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs) a plus - Exposure to ipchains or iptables on Linux a plus - Experience working through a product life cycle a plus - Experience with configuring/setting up Windows networks a plus
