Microsoft can do it in a few minutes. It was the 'stated' business stratergy of dotnet, trusted computing and passport. It is their current marketing campaign. It's already a fact on the ground as any computing consultant currently knows. Applications which are built out on the MSFC do not always work on SAMBA. There are oplock constrainsts, patents and copyrighted protocals, and a variety of other MS specific network infrastructure contraints on these system.

I know threat construction. It is the XP EULEA and codebase which has a specific allowence for turning the systems off remotely if MS decides to, and for automatic updates. As a Conservative, I find this extreamly offense. As an IBM executive, I would be worried sick about it since 90% of the keyboards connected to my products are controlled by another single entity.
Although, I admit, I can not speak for the rest of NYLXS. They maybe ultra-leftists.
