Can DevOps really bring about 30 times faster deployments? Can it reduce bugs exponentially? Will it allow new feature development while managing legacy software? In other words, is DevOps what its enthusiasts say? You can invest an enjoyable half day to receive action-packed information, plus lunch and networking, and you’ll learn the answers to these questions for yourself – for FREE. (And you’ll receive the slide deck even if you’re unable to attend at the last minute.)
Register HERE now to hear and interact with these two dynamic speakers –
Achieving DevOps Nirvana – Real World Lessons on How to Accelerate Software Delivery Across the Application Lifecycle. In his session, Bernard Golden, VP Strategy, ActiveState Software, will describe how DevOps is a phrase that’s much abused: talked about by everyone, understood by far fewer. This presentation will focus on practical initiatives and benefits, along with some real-world skinned knees. It will include a set of recommendations to move forward with an enterprise DevOps initiative.
The Forgotten Side of DevOps – Techniques for Doing DevOps in Large Enterprises. In his talk, Dave West, Chief Product Officer, Tasktop Software, presents lessons learned while doing DevOps deployments in large organizations, including banks, retailers, and car manufacturers. Each of these transformations was challenged with integrating rapid iterations and continuous delivery with existing systems and stakeholders. This led to the creation of tool-agnostic DevOps integration patterns which include defect unification, agile orchestration, and supply chain integration. For each pattern, Dave West will review a case study and show how its implementation lead to deployment success.
This year’s DevOps Unleashed events are the next step beyond 2014’s Agile to DevOps focus because they’ll go deeper, explore further, and answer today’s questions prompted by our changing software demands in 2015.
Click HERE to register today and you’ll receive a free copy of the new, just published version of DevOps for Dummies and a free subscription to IEEE Computer Society’s new ComputingEdge.
