I doubt that Tony's and my theoretical egos are blocking that message.
Having been involved in Free Software for a good long time before Open Source come about, I've been repeatedly surprised at how well the Open Source message has worked with business and the press. This despite major outpourings of ego by various people, and all the tearing of hair about what's left out of the message by Richard and even me.
Some messages take on a life of their own. Rather than having to ram them down someone's throat, they do the work for you. That's what happened with "Open Source". I'm not sure the campaign you designed has the same sort of legs.
Thanks
Bruce
