Seslo:
While your enthusiam and great desire to get things going is very apreciated, please understand that this is not how to make an announcement. Committees are formal structure, and meeting times and places need to be worked out within that structure. Since Charles Nardino seems to be overwhelmed with work, please pass the Educational Committee meeting plans pass me, and co-ordinate.
I was just getting ready to announce an NY Fair Use meeting sometime during the next week. This would throw a wrench in the plans. In addition, the organization is going through a change in the board this coming week.
Please also notice that all announcements need to go through the ANNOUNCEMENTS and CALENDER form.
The ANNOUNCEMENT form is http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/appl/nylinux/announce/form.html and the Calender Form is http://www2.mrbrklyn.com/nylinux/calender.html
April 1st is the turn over of the board, which mean that Committeee assignments will be redistributed on that date. I would recommend that we discuss a date for next NY Free Software Schools Initiative after the committees are reasigned.
